One schedule, kept in one place
Most dance organizers keep the same schedule in several places: a website, a Facebook page, a newsletter, a flyer, a calendar. Every change (a new time, a cancelled night, a guest instructor) has to be repeated in each one, and something is always out of date.
With US.dance publishing feeds, you update an event in one place. Everywhere that shows your schedule picks the change up automatically.
How it works
Add your events
Post events on US.dance the way you do today. They appear on the public calendar for your state and on the national calendar, in front of dancers who are already looking.
Get your feed
Every organizer gets a personal feed address that works right away. You can ask for a friendlier name, such as us.dance/feed/your-studio.
Connect it once
Paste one snippet into your website, or give your feed address to a calendar app or newsletter tool. After that, your changes flow through automatically.
What you can do
A calendar on your own website
Paste a short snippet where you want your events to appear. It matches your page's fonts and works with any site builder that allows custom HTML.
Let dancers subscribe
The same events are available as a standard calendar feed. Dancers add it to Apple, Google or Outlook Calendar once, and your events, changes and cancellations show up on their own calendars.
Show only what fits
Filter by tag or keyword, so classes can appear on your Classes page and socials on your Socials page, all from the same feed. You can also add filter buttons so visitors can narrow the list themselves.
Newsletters and other tools
Feeds are also available in RSS and JSON formats, which many newsletter, automation and website tools can read.
Edit events from your website
If you have your own domain, you can link it to your account. Once we have verified that it is yours, you can manage events on US.dance that came from your site.
Your name, your address
Start with a working address right away, then request a custom one. The original address keeps working, so nothing you set up ever breaks.
Pick any of your events and get a ready-written post for Facebook, Instagram, X, Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, WhatsApp or email, with the date, place, link and hashtags filled in. You can edit it, then post it yourself in one click.
Less work, fewer mistakes
Today
- Update your website, then your calendar, then your newsletter
- Cancellations reach only the places you remembered
- Old times stay up until someone notices
- A website calendar means a plugin, a service or hand-edited pages
With a US.dance feed
- Edit once on US.dance
- Cancellations carry through to subscribers and your site
- Everything stays current without extra steps
- Paste one snippet, then leave it alone
A better public dance calendar
Your events already reach dancers through the US.dance calendar for your state and the national calendar. Feeds extend that to the places your own audience already looks: your website, their phones and your newsletter. Your schedule is then accurate wherever someone finds it, and dancers have less reason to message you asking whether Friday's dance is still on.
We are also exploring more ways to share your events automatically, including on social media. We'll announce those when they are ready.
